I only now realize I’m far more lucky than I imagined, to have been born here after the fall of the Soviet Union. For once I’m actually proud of this country, and seeing past the poverty and endless corruption scandals that often characterize us: Romania ultimately sides with freedom with technology and with real progress, when others like Germany who you’d expect to know better want an authoritarian world masked as fake progress!
