The UK is the fourth most digital-savvy of the European nations
Television viewers in two Welsh towns are preparing to be the first in the UK to lose their analogue signal.
From early on Wednesday, 400 households in Ferryside and Llanstephan in Carmarthenshire will be able to receive only digital TV.
They voted to switch after taking part in a pilot for a UK changeover plan.
They will be the first to entirely abandon the old analogue network, which is due to disappear throughout the UK by 2012."
